01 Visiting Ancestral Worship and Sharing Loyalty and Righteousness with the Ancestors of Myanmar
The visiting delegation first visited the Historical and Cultural Museum of the temple, gaining a deep understanding of the long history, Zen and martial arts culture, and the origin of the South Shaolin Temple as an important ancestral home of the Hongmen.
Subsequently, everyone went to the Hall of Gratitude and the Red Flower Pavilion to solemnly worship their ancestors, expressing deep remembrance and respect for their ancestors and sages. The great monk Kongxing expressed that there are many similarities between the loyalty and righteousness spirit of Hongmen and the Buddhist concept of protecting the country and benefiting the people, which are worth inheriting from generation to generation.
02 Zen and Martial Arts Performance, Showcasing the Spirit and Charm of Martial Arts
After the ancestral worship ceremony, the monk group presented a wonderful Zen and martial arts performance. The Wei Tuo staff technique is fierce and powerful, the hard qigong technique is awe inspiring, and the double mace, the king gun and other special skills are presented in rotation. The martial monks' impressive performance has won applause from the entire hall.
Chairman Liu Peixun exclaimed: "We behold the soul of Chinese martial arts and feel the roots of the Hongmen spirit!" The charm of the integration of Chan and martial arts has enabled Taiwan compatriots to deeply perceive the cultural power of the same roots and origin across the two sides of the Taiwan Strait.
03 Deepen cooperation and assist in national rejuvenation
In recent years, Chairman Liu Peixun has led many people to visit the Southern Shaolin Temple to worship the Five Ancestors, and this sincere commitment is moving. In the past, the predecessors of Hongmen adhered to the spirit of loyalty and righteousness, and had a broad sense of national righteousness. Now, Kunzhong of Hongmen continues his spiritual lineage, actively participates in the cause of national rejuvenation and reunification, and bravely shoulders the mission and responsibility of the new era.
