  On the afternoon of July 21, 2026, the atmosphere inside the South Shaolin Temple Inheritance Hall in Jiulian Mountain, Putian was peaceful and filled with applause. The closing ceremony of the Chinese Excellent Traditional Culture Experience Camp at the Shaolin Martial Arts School in Gothenburg, Sweden was held here, marking the successful conclusion of a four-day in-depth cultural journey. This experience camp was held from July 18th to 21st, during which Nordic international friends deeply experienced the culture of Southern Shaolin in our temple, including Zen martial arts, Zen tea, Zen medicine, and Zen meditation. During the four-day period, the students practiced martial arts and meditation between the morning and evening drums, experiencing the unique charm of "using Zen to enter martial arts and practicing martial arts to cultivate Zen" in the millennium old temple.

  At 3:00 pm that day, the sandalwood fragrance was lingering in the inheritance hall, and the theme of "Silk Road Transmission of Zen, Martial Arts, Five Continents, and Zen Wind" was shining brightly on the background screen. With the host's energetic opening speech, the closing ceremony officially kicked off. The martial arts troupe took the lead in presenting a magnificent performance of the "Southern Shaolin" martial arts, showcasing the fierce and rapid style of the Southern Shaolin style with the roar of the punches. Over the past four days, scenes of martial arts practice, meditation, tea talks, and medical theory learning flashed one by one. Andre said emotionally, "Before coming to China, I thought martial arts were just combat skills, but these days I understand that true kung fu is inner peace and concentration." Andreas shared his first experience of the wonderful feeling of "letting go of distractions" during meditation, calling it "a refreshing experience of the soul. Yunas mentioned that the theory of meridians and qi and blood in Zen medicine gave him a new understanding of life, "although it is difficult to fully comprehend, it has opened a new window".
